What is Colibri?

"Colibri" means Hummingbird in both Spanish and French. Our first small urban farm in the Pacific Northwest was named Colibri Farms because we were lucky enough to have year-round hummingbirds on our property. When we moved to Virginia and purchased our new farm, it was already named Crestvue and we wanted to honor that history by keeping the name. When Leslie began tinkering with hot sauces using all of the amazing hot peppers we grow, we wanted to give a little nod to our humble beginnings. And so Colibri Hot Sauce was born.

Plus, we think the spicy hummingbird logo is pretty cool.
